Volunteers meet in the kitchen on Wednesdays at 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM and Sundays at 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Seniors come every other Saturday. All are welcome to participate, no appointment needed.
Baba once said, “Sitting in this masjid, I shall never speak untruth. Take pity on me like this: first, give bread to the hungry and then eat yourself. Note this well.”
Volunteers come twice weekly to make food that is distributed to the homeless in downtown Austin. The temple was blessed through the generous donations of its devotees to be able to provide approximately 32,000 meals in 2012.
HERE is a list of items that we need weekly. These can be dropped off in the kitchen anytime.
