Most kids look forward to having two weeks out of school and the delights of the winter holiday break, but for kids going home to empty pantries, the idea can be scary. For some, no school often means little to no food. This program helps fill this need by providing food to LISD families over the holiday break. Thank you for choosing to help us make everyone’s holiday a happy time. Cost is $99 full box, $54 is for the half box to feed low-income families in Leander ISD for the Christmas holidays. Our goal is 125 boxes, the total goal is $12,500. UPDATE: Our goal was met, thanks to generous sponsors and donors like you! With the help of local Boy Scout troops, food boxes for 125 families were picked up and delivered to needy families in our local Leander ISD.
